Explore your possibilities

Sometimes we all need a little support to tackle something that is on our mind, meet a new work challenge or to manage changing life circumstances. This is where I may be able to help you.

In its broadest sense, a coach is someone who can help motivate you and offer structure to reach your goals, develop new behaviours, manage transitions in life or even trace a path to a new way of living. I will act as your guide, helping you to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

I practice a form of coaching called “Integral Development Coaching” that draws upon knowledge from cognitive science, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, somatics, adult development theory, spiritual traditions and more.

It is ‘Integral’ as it meets you as a whole person and considers the connections between different aspects of your life (for example, work, relationships, personal history, wellbeing). It is ‘Developmental’ as it looks to intentionally support personal growth. You may have a goal in mind that we can pursue through the coaching (for example, career development) but we will focus on the foundational work that underpins this (such as clarity of purpose, work/life balance, confidence, skill in relationships etc).

The philosophy, values and methods of Integral Development Coaching underpin my work and you can find out more here.

With each client I design a unique coaching programme that is typically based upon a combination of reflective exercises and new practices.  You will get the chance to develop greater self-knowledge but also the opportunity to practice a new way of being in the world. I will offer you challenge and a development edge but it will be realistic and fit with the commitments of everyday life.

Topics I have supported clients on in the past have included:

•    Better work/life balance and avoiding burnout
•    Navigating sensitive workplace relationships
•    Building self-belief and resilience
•    Self-compassion
•    Career changes
•    Developing clarity around difficult decisions
•    Reconnecting to purpose

All initial conversations are free of charge and with no commitment. They are exploratory so that I can assess your situation, explain how I work, you can get a feel for my style and we can see if we are a good match to work together.
